Update on Barney's Arrival in Scottsdale

I was in Scottsdale last week and confirmed that there is a space in which Barney's is being built right across from the Scottsdale Fashion Mall...a fashion insider (the Jessica Bennett shoe rep) also told me he heard that Barney's has received funding for the company---so they are back in the works again!  Exciting news I have to say!  And also, just another bit of research that confirms that Barney's is in fact making its way to AZ, slowly but surely is that there are job postings online for positions at the AMAZING Barneys New York...so apply or just be excited about shopping your heart away:)

AZ Fashion Week

Do you always dream of being at the tents in New York, Milan, Paris, London, and many more?  Well, get it all here in Phoenix on April 23rd!  I am excited to say that I will be attending and sharing all of the trends from the runway on the site.  But, if you can, definitely attend and get all of the excitement!

Don't Miss Out: AZ Spa Week

There are somethings you just can't miss out on and this is one of them!  When I read about this, I thought of Restaurant week in New York---which, I have to say, Arizona also has a Restaurant week that I heard is AMAZING!  Well, who can miss out on Spa week for top location in the states to go for spa's?  The cool part is even though you are getting a discounted rate, you should still plan to be there all day so you can take advantage of the pool, sauna and everything else you would expect at a spa resort!  Go to spaweek.com to find out who is offering what now!

Where: Too many spas to list...you have to check it out and find your dream spa that you have always wanted to go to and have you chance for full bliss:)

Fashion Opportunity: Give Back

Waste Management of Tucson is collecting gently worn footwear to benefit Soles4Soles.  Shoes can be dropped off at the Waste Management office 5200 W. Ina Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., through the end of the year.  Call 572-5500 for more information. 

Fashion Exhibit in AZ

There is so much fashion to find in AZ...you just have to know where to look.  The Phoenix Art Museum always has exceptional art exhibits with a focus in fashion every year.  Right now, the museum has the Medievalism: Fashion's Roman with the Middle Ages....it looks like these pieces are pretty modern...so, it will be a fun take on what you can be inspired to wear now.  The exhibit ends July 5, so you still have time to make a date with The Phoenix Art Museum:)  I plan on wearing my goth inspired shoes that have been rocking the fashion flock the past season:)  They seem pretty appropriate:)

Fashion Shows To Attend this Spring

I was just in Phoenix this past weekend and fell in love with a boutique called, Fleurt!  They have fab designer pieces to items that the owner has created...my friend purchased a hat with Greenbay designs for her hubby's games:)  Turned out very cute!  Well, the boutique will be having a fashion show at Valley Ho (I have been to this hotel for a fashion show last year and it was AMAZING!) on May 8th.  Make sure to get on the list, so many people show up!

Grand Store Opening: The Largest Forever 21 in Tucson

The Grand opening of the new Forever 21 location at Tucson Mall is on Saturday, March 20th and worth checking out because the first 300 people to walk through the doors will receive a gift card!  I wish I could go!  This is going to be a grand location.  It is in the old Mervyn's location, so that is a lot of space!  With the way the economy is looking right now, there is no going wrong with the prices you will get in this store!  Have fun!

Sad News

H&M will not be coming to Scottsdale this spring anymore...the date has been pushed back to the fall..most likely due to the economy...as soon as I receive an update, I will share with everyone...so, head out to get the Matthew Williamson pieces in April!
