94.9 Fashion Show March 9th
From 11:30-1:30 at La Encantada, the 6th bi-annual fashion show will take place. The event sounds like fun, and if I remember correctly, they have a lot of giveaways on the day of the event. Oh, and the event is free and the theme is, "Black and White party."

Threading: An Amazing and natural way of taking off the hair on your face
I LOVE Threading! I have had my whole face done before--which was kind of crazy, but I did it and had a face as smooth as a babies bottom:) But, I regularly got my eyebrows and lip, yes I said lip threaded and it lasted much longer than waxing. And it seems more natural than taking wax and yanking hair out...it is like plucking, but doing it much quicker with a thread. Mena Aldulaime at Visual Expressions, 5632 E. 5th Street, near the intersection of 5th and Craycroft. Phone (520) 584-8888.

Tucson Mall Changes
With the loss of Macy's at the Tucson Mall, Forever 21 will begin to resemble the likes of Forever 21 stores across the U.S. that are 2 levels and Bebe will also open at the Tucson Mall...I hope this will trigger an effect to bring Nordstrom's to Tucson...but, we can only hope at this point...I even think that Nordstrom leasing the space at El Con Mall...and I am looking into JC Penny having Sephora here in Tucson...wouldn't that be magic? If that happened, El Con Mall would BOOM! But, who am I??? Just a fashion slave who understands what every woman wants...as far as shopping goes:) Aren't we tired of driving to Phoenix for Nordstrom?

Make a MAC Appointment for Fafi for Mac
If you don't feel like driving all the way to Chandler for a visit with the artist for Fafi, then just make an appointment with MAC at Dillards Tucson Mall for a makeover to test the line. The event will take place from February 22-24, so call and make an appointment soon. I love it mainly for the packaging:) I am going to at least buy a powder or a bronzer to use in my handbag as a mirror:)

Local Ways to Make a Difference--Go Green!
Now through April 22nd (Earth Day) donate fur coats that you may have received as a gift, found at a thrift store or bought yourself to Coats for Cubs. Scary fact: dogs and raccoon dogs are being sold as "faux fur." Doesn't that make you feel creepy? Well, help make a difference by donating your old furs. For more information on this and the event, go to Buffalo Exchange.

RSVP
Join the central Buffalo Exchange for a "Love Stinks - Let's Party!" all-day event. Door prizes and refreshments. We'll have a DJ in store for the day! I have loved Buffalo since I was in high school living in Portland, Oregon. I loved to shop and the store allowed me to get new things after trading items that would have just stayed in my closet forever and go unused. Well, we Tucsononians are lucky enough to be in the location where Buffalo started and has the Corporate Headquarters and for V-Day they are having an event, just for you. Check out the invite below.
